About the speaker:
Martin “Marty” B. Leewright is a mediator, litigation attorney and arbitrator with degrees in psychology and sociology. He holds extensive experience in alternative dispute resolution, mediation, arbitration, litigation, negotiation, settlement and criminal prosecution. He has also taught at the university level, at the State Bar and has a wealth of speaking, authorship, community, educational and State Bar leadership. In 2011, he was appointed by the Texas Supreme Court Chief Justice to a Task Force to write new Rules of Civil Procedure for over 800 courts. He was honored by the Texas Supreme Court in 2012 for “serving with distinction” and also received a special award from the Texas Justice Court Judges Association in 2015.
